North Wind Laser is a Southeast Michigan precision marking and engraving shop built to serve small and mid-sized businesses. We handle custom engraving, laser cutting, full-color UV printing, and metal marking for companies that need consistent, professional results at any volume.
Our shop runs multiple marking and printing processes under one roof, which means fewer vendors, faster turnaround, and consistent quality from prototype to production run. From a dozen closing gifts to a full production run of serialized asset tags, every piece comes off the line the same.

Current Processes
- Full-color UV printing on flat and cylindrical objects (CMYK + white + gloss)
- Optional raised 3D-textured effects up to 5mm tall
- UV-DTF transfer production for irregular and curved surfaces
- Laser engraving on wood, leather, acrylic, slate, stone, and other organics
- Laser cutting through hardwoods up to 18mm and dark acrylic up to 15mm
- Pass-through and large-format processing for lengths up to approximately 10 feet
- Precision metal marking on stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium
- Deep black marks and full-color marking on metals
- Permanent ceramic and porcelain tile engraving (sealed-glaze process)
- Glass and crystal engraving (surface and interior)
- High-detail photo-grade engraving at production speed
